As an integrated extension of OneSpace Modeling from CoCreate (Fort Collins, CO), CFdesign upfront CFD software from Blue Ridge Numerics (Charlottesville, VA) acts as an interactive 3D flow bench and thermal test rig with an ability to conduct trade-off studies upfront in the design process.

Geometry changes made within OneSpace Modeling are automatically reflected in CFdesign without any translation or conversion process, eliminating the process of creating and managing multiple geometry models during a project lifecycle. With CFdesign, there is always only one product model, and it is updated and managed within the CoCreate environment.

CoCreate CEO William M. Gascoigne explained, "We view CFdesign as synergistic with CoCreate's 3G PLM approach to enable companies to achieve a new level of success in adopting lean product development, and reaping its benefits."
