Bluebeam PDF Revu version 5.0 has been released with expanded functionality for the needs of AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), Government, Legal, and Financial users.

AEC customers can now compare two PDF drawings, and the technology can recognize and highlight the differences between two PDF files. Other features included in 5.0 are rotating markups, markup summary reports, and improved PDF batch capabilities. 

Bluebeam Software Inc. (Pasadena, CA) has also implemented built-in PDF redaction for permanently deleting confidential or sensitive text and images, Bates Stamping, markup summary reports formatted for MS Excel, and PDF document editing.

The release supports the Windows Vista OS and Microsoft Office 2007. Visit bluebeam.com for more information.
