CAD Exchanger has released an Android application that has helped engineers and 3D designers view, convert and share models in mobile format.

CAD Exchanger converts the 3D CAD files so people could work together on a single project without technical restrictions. Even without access to their workstations, the company states.

The free plan allows to view the 3D models under 10 MB, explore the product structure and detail properties, gather measurements and meta-information, build sectioning views, switch between polygonal and solid representations and generate new ones.

The annual paid subscription ($29) enables the import of files over 10 MB, enables conversion functionality and advanced sectioning views. The 30-day free trial period is available.

“CAD Exchanger leverages patented parallel algorithms to ensure supreme performance on mobile devices with limited hardware capabilities,” says Roman Lygin, CEO and founder of CADEX Ltd.
