CADNexus Inc., a provider of interoperability software for collaborative multi-CAD and CAE environments, has become a member of the MathWorks Connections Program. This partnership is based on CADNexus’ CAPRI CAE Gateway to Matlab solution, a new interoperability design software package based on MathWorks’ flagship product, MATLAB.

The MathWorks Connections Program is available to third-party organizations that develop and distribute complementary, commercially available products and services based on the MATLAB technical computing environment. Connections Program partners help MATLAB users by providing industry- or application-specific technology to fill their need for a complete solution.

“We are very pleased to be a part of the MathWorks Connections Program,” says Ali Merchant, president and co-founder of CADNexus. “This is an opportunity that will enable us to align ourselves with the industry’s leading technical computing software developer, and we look forward to engaging in the many opportunities available to us through this partnership. It will allow us to further penetrate the existing CAD and simulation driven design markets by providing engineers who use MATLAB with the tools necessary to interact with CAD and MATLAB in real time to streamline the product development process.”

Engineers using MATLAB for physical modeling and simulation tasks can use CADNexus CAPRI to import and modify CAD designs in their programs.
