CoCreate Software, Inc.(Fort Collins, CO) announced this week that its Designer Draftingcustomers could receive a special upgrade to OneSpace Designer Modelingfor free. The company says the only out-of-pocket cost is the firstyear of support, which must be purchased for each upgrade license for$1,390. In addition to full support, each license includes access toall major and minor upgrades throughout the year.

Since Designer Drafting is packaged into Designer Modeling, there is noloss of functionality—only the addition of 3D power. CoCreate's dynamicmodeling technology is a history-free approach to 3D productdevelopment aimed at delivering speed, flexibility, and responsivenessto change.

CoCreate CEO William M. Gascoigne called the offer a "sweetheart dealfor our 2D customers that will introduce them to the benefits of 3Dlean product development."
 
The offer ends February 28, 2006 or when all 1,000 upgrades availablewithin this offer have been requested. Only Designer Drafting customersthat have not yet added Designer Modeling to their CoCreate productportfolio are eligible.
