Contex, a provider of wide-format scanning and imaging solutions, has launched the all new ScanStation, equipped for productivity and professional workflows. The device is equipped to improve workflow efficiency by up to 30%, the company states.
The ScanStation includes an all-in-one controller with an Intel i7 core processor and multi-touch screen functionality. It is also outfitted with REimage technology, which allows users to access raw data instead of needing to rescan documents. There is also a 21.5 in. display and 2 Gigabit Ethernet and USB ports. Lastly, the system provides 2GB DDR3 memory, a 500GB HDD and is Windows 7 compatible.
"The new ScanStation is for loyal customers who are looking to improve their overall productivity. It will have a tremendous impact on the way they operate by helping them to spend less time scanning documents,” said Morten Nielsen, global marketing director, Contex. “To develop this product, we listened closely to our customers and the result is a powerful solution unlike any other in the market."
