Extensible CAD Technologies, LLC (Apex,  NC), a software development company specializing in CAD integration, announced that InspectionXpert First-Article will support Autocad drawing formats.

InspectionXpert First-Article software enables users to create quality inspection documentation for first-article inspections directly from most common CAD drawing formats,  including Autocad formats such as DWG, DXF and DWF. InspectionXpert First-Article does not rely on CAD software to generate the inspection reports so quality personnel may create the inspection reports rather than engineering.

Other features include InspectionXpert First-Article supports DWG, DXF and DWF files;  export inspection characteristics to Microsoft Excel formatted inspection report; works with most other popular 2D drawing formats including PDF, TIFF,  SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor, and more. Plus, InspectionXpert enables you to quickly and easily customize the layout of your inspection form.
