Dassault Systemes announced the release of its next-generation 3DSwYm social innovation application.

Designed to dynamically share and leverage knowledge, 3DSwYm creates value by enabling organizations to uncover and harness individual talents and ideas inside and outside the company, including partners, suppliers, consumers or any other stakeholder, according to Dassault.

3DSwYm empowers everyone, regardless of domain, to innovate and add value, share their experience and put forward ideas, fostering a strong sense of belonging and engaging everyone in the enterprises challenges and vision, said Sophie Plante, CEO 3DSwYm, Dassault Systemes. The result is a unified, 360-degree view of activities and interactions shared across the organization. 3DSwYm becomes a real-time social dynamic referential environment, offering effective decision and action support, leveraging social innovation to help transform the organization."

The 3DSwYm social enterprise environment integrates with legacy information systems and business processes as well as Dassault Systemes ENOVIA collaborative platform. It incorporates the Exalead semantic search engine, which blends search capability with intelligent, in-context content suggestions. Other benefits include sharing of 3D models, social learning and gaming applications, in addition to the Netvibes widget catalog to personalize the 3DSwYm environment. Companies can develop their own secure, on-the-cloud community relying on Dassault Syst mes Outscale SaaS operator services.

As a result of the uptake of 3DSwYm, Dassault is selling its equity position in social software company blueKiwi SA.
