Dassault Systèmes and SRM Institute of Science and Technology Tiruchirappalli, have inked a memorandum of understanding for a collaborative ecosystem that helps grow engineering innovation, skill development, startup incubation, and local research. As part of the collaboration, the institute plans to leverage Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform and technology expertise so that students, faculty, and early-stage entrepreneurs can build digital skills and applications.
The MoU outlines steps to creation of a skilled workforce by integrating advanced design and engineering applications into academic and training programs. It also supports the incubation of student- and faculty-led startups that are focused on development of products and processes.
An additional goal of the MoU is to advance research and development initiatives that focus on the local design of technologies, systems and equipment.
