DataCAD Software & Services announced the availability of KeyViewOffice as a new product in its portfolio. KeyViewOffice, a product of K2D-KeyToData, is a tool for organizations working with native documents that must be kept in their original version.

The solution allows opening, marking, stamping and annotating a variety of file formats such as PDF, Microsoft Office documents and image files (TIFF, JPG, BMP) in one single application.

All markups placed in a document with the help of KeyViewOffice are saved as separate overlay. The native file is not changed during further processing. A solution for long-term archiving of files is also available as PDF-A export.

“Our first customers to take advantage of this solution are very excited about this professional tool,” said Ulrich Oehler, CEO of DataCAD. “Communication and document sharing with sensitive information among colleagues and partners has become save and easy to handle with KeyViewOffice; the source document will not be changed.”
