Datakit announces updated & new SolidWorks plug-ins and updated SolidWorks translations in their CrossCAD libraries.

CATIA V4 2D to SolidWorks 2D

This enables accurate and convenient CAD data transfer from CATIA V4 2D to SolidWorks. It does not require a license of CATIA V4. It converts model files and CAT export. Create one SolidWorks drawing file per draft. The versions covered are: CATIA V4 2D: 4.15 to 4.24; SolidWorks: 2011 to 2020.

UG NX 3D to SolidWorks

This enables accurate and convenient CAD data transfer from UG NX 3D to SolidWorks. It does not require a license of UG NX and converts assemblies and parts :(*.PRT). Versions covered are: UG NX: 15 to NX 1919; SolidWorks: 2011 to 2020.

UG NX 2D to SolidWorks

This enables accurate and convenient CAD data transfer from UG NX 2D to SolidWorks. It does not require a license of UG NX and it converts part and assembly files: (*.PRT). Versions covered are UG NX: NX to NX 1919; and SolidWorks: 2011 to 2020.

SolidWorks 3D to UG NX

This enables accurate and convenient CAD data transfer from SolidWorks to NX (Unigraphics). It does not require a license of NX and it converts .prt files. Versions covered are SolidWorks: 2007 to 2020; and UG NX: NX 5. 

SolidWorks 3D to PDF 3D

This enables ability to save SolidWorks models in 3DPDF files (.pdf). It does not require a license of Adobe Acrobat or any other third-party software. It keeps geometry, product manufacturing information and metadata. Versions covered are SolidWorks: 2007 to 2020; PDF: 1.7.
