MSI announces a refresh of the Summit Series of notebook computers, the company’s top business and productivity laptop computers.

These new computers use the new 12th-Gen Intel Core processors. The line has been awarded Intel Evo platform certification for lightweight design, rapid response and long battery life.

Summit Series notebooks are available with either Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics or NVIDIA GPUs featuring RTX technology. The rest of this article focuses on the Summit flip models.

The Summit Series flip line offers three models for three screen sizes: the E13 Flip (13-in.), the E14 (14-in.) and the E16 (16-in.). The E13 and E14 use Intel integrated graphics; the E16 uses the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, a laptop GPU with 4GB GDDR6 memory.

The displays use Tobii Aware, which prevents others from seeing the screen when the user is away from the computer. MSI says these computers also feature enterprise-grade security for the webcam, and offers discrete TPM (Trusted Platform Module) support, fingerprint or infrared (IR) webcam support and webcam status notification. Each Summit Series notebook is also equipped with Tile finding technology, used if the computer is misplaced or stolen.

These models offer 360° flip capabilities and are ready for tablet mode use.

Each model in the Summit Series uses NVMe M.2 storage technology, running on PCIe Gen 4 I/O. The webcam is IR full high-definition, running 30fps @ 1080p. There are two Thunderbolt / USB Type C ports (one for charging). Other ports include a microSD reader; HDMI output and an audio combo jack. The E16 offers a 16-in. QHD+ screen at 2560x1600 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is an in-plane-level panel, and supports MSI Pen.

The Summit Series notebook computers are now available directly from MSI. For more information, click here.
