Custom software developer AMC Bridge makes available a CAD-based augmented reality mobile application as a technology demonstration. The technology, CAD-to-AR Mobile, shows how 3D CAD models can become part of a mixed reality environment.
The demonstration links several distinct technologies: CAD; cloud storage; the Unity real-time 3D display engine; Google’s Android smartphone operating system; and augmented reality courtesy of the EasyAR software development kit (SDK) from VisionStar Information Technology.
