GEOMATE introduced DXFCALCS Suite 2014, a collection of three applications that enable CAD users to solve a range of engineering and design challenges, the company says.

DXFCALCS Suite 2014 is based on GEOMATE's graphical calculation technology, which virtually eliminates mathematical calculations and equation solving from the engineering design process. It includes the following solvers that work with geometry saved in DXF file format in any popular CAD application:

GrafiCalc Elements 7.0 enables users to conceptualize, analyze, and solve day-to-day engineering design challenges. ToleranceCalc 6.0 allows 1D/2D tolerance stack-up analysis of parts and assemblies in any CAD application. SectionCalc 4.0 is a software wizard that enables users to simultaneously calculate all vital section properties of any CAD cross-section.

The solvers work in conjunction with all popular 32- or 64-bit CAD applications running under Vista, XP, Windows 7, or Windows 8.
