Raster editing and conversion software provider GTX Corporation released its 2015 series of GTXRaster CAD for AutoCAD. These products include GTXRaster Tools, GTXRaster CAD, GTXRaster R2V and GTXRaster CADPLUS.

New enhancements to the 2015 series include full AutoCAD 2015 DWG compatibility, support for Windows 7 and 8 operating systems (32- and 64-bit), improved licensing, new user interface, reengineering rasterization engine and automatic image cleanup. Users can also check out PDF support, which allows file editing.

The new user interface incorporates AutoCAD's Light and Dark environments, the company states. GTX has also added a feature titled Intelligent Object Picking, where raster selection enhancements include raster selection within a rotated rectangle, allowing for more precise raster selection.

“GTX Corporation has never been more focused on the needs of engineering design teams than with our latest release of the GTXRaster CAD 2015 Series. With its many improvements including the support for Microsoft Windows 8, 64-bit operating systems, PDF support, Package and Borrow Licensing options, organizations can really take full advantage of the programs enhancements and simplify their engineering design tasks,” stated Andrew Ling, president and CEO at GTX. "With the benefits of Microsoft Windows 8, innovative technology, and exceptional customer service, our customers using the GTXRaster CAD 2015 Series will be able to manage their archival files with ease.”
