ITT Visual Information Solutions Announces IDL for the New Mac Intel Architecture

ITT Visual Information Solutions(Boulder, CO) announced the release of IDL 6.3 for Mac OS X on Intel,becoming one of the first software providers to offer a nativeapplication for the new architecture. A press release says the new IDLrelease runs as a native application on all Mac Intel supported machines and offers significant performance benefits.

We have found there is a growing popularity of Mac OS X across avariety of industries for scientific and analysis applications, says Bill Okubo, IDL product manager for ITT.
