JMR Electronics Launches New SSD Plug-In

JMR Electronics, a provider of scalable storage solutions, has released its latest SSD (solid-state drive) plug-in offering, SiloStore.

The SiloStore is a NVMe plug-in card that is a full-length, half-height PCIe 3.0 x8 drive for 2TB or more of solid-state storage to any server, computer or work station.The card occupies a x8 PCIe slot and can also be connected via Thunderbolt PCIe expansion to those computers offering this capability.

“Our new SiloStor is ideal for compute intensive applications where performance and long-life are a priority,” said Josef Rabinovitz, president and CEO of JMR Electronics. “The card extends the useful life of any server, computer or workstation, adding incredible IOPS performance for applications ranging from HPC and IT enterprise, research and education to defense, to video production, graphics and animation. We’re so confident of the card’s reliability that we’re also offering a 3-year warranty or 200TBW.”
