Kubotek3D, developer of precision geometry software technology, introduces K-Compare Validate, its new, stand-alone CAD translation validation software built on the universal CAD architecture of the new Kubotek Kosmos 3D framework.

The K-Compare Validate software supplants Kubotek Validation Tool, introduced in 2008 and the made for CAD translation validation for supplier quality compliance in the aerospace manufacturing industry. The K-Compare Validate software provides a streamlined user interface that is said to be faster than its predecessor, the company reports.

“With its unique face-based comparison strategy Kubotek’s CAD model validation software has been the acknowledged technology leader in the aerospace industry for years,” says Andre Beaupre, general manager of Sales and Support at Kubotek3D. “With the new Kosmos technology built into its K-Compare Validate software, Kubotek is becoming a truly independent auditor of translations between other software.”

The K-Compare Validate software is the first product released under the K-Compare brand.

The K-Compare Validate software offers the following:

  • quality systems compliance with standards such as Boeing D6-51991;
  • tamper-proof quality documentation and reporting;
  • thorough model inspection through face-based comparison;
  • model interrogation, visual overlay and measurement;
  • stand-alone read support for CATIA, NX, Creo, Solidworks, STEP, IGES, etc.; and
  • batch validation.

Kubotek3D develops mechanical CAD software and core precision 3D technologies that facilitate interoperability between CAD programs. This strategy allows geometry, no matter where it originated, to be used throughout the manufacturing supply chain to speed time to market, reduce costs and improve quality. Kubotek Corporation was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
