Lambda Research has announced the release of TracePro 25.2.1, the latest update to the company's optical design and analysis software.

According to the company, the new release includes performance enhancements, feature refinements, and bug fixes designed to make optical modeling experience more powerful and efficient. You can find detailed release notes and download instructions on the Lambda Research website.

The new release includes:

  • Enhanced property database management for a smoother user experience.
  • Improved Volume Flux calculations, including support for environment properties and more accurate flux collection.
  • Improved Scheme math functions now work more seamlessly, providing enhanced flexibility for advanced users.
  • Fixed various issues affecting ray tracing, object creation, and user interface stability.
  • Updated Kosmos3D CAD kernel
