Lambda Research Corporation Announces Release of TracePro 7.5

Lambda Research Corporation, a designer and publisher of illumination and optical design software, has released the most recent version of its TracePro software.

Version 7.5 includes enhancements that improve the tool's features, such as a new generation of the Texture Optimizer with an improved interface, 10 new patterns for the RepTile Texture functionality, multiple 3D Interactive Optimizer advancements and an added Group Node icon in the Model Tree.

Furthermore, TracePro 7.5 includes three new features for modeling light scattered from surfaces. These include one-dimensional scattering models, a database of scatter models  with an editor that can be used with surface property models, and the ability to combine two or more scatter models into one surface property. This release also includes enhanced photorealistic rendering capabilities.
