Version 4.2 brings functions such as automatic part and edge matching, a G1 profile mode and no-cost HexSight. With automatic part matching, Gocator can inspect parts regardless of their orientation.
The G1 profile mode enables users to generate profiles of scanned parts with a single point sensor. The software builds the profiles intelligently by using high speed range data and flexible part detection logic.
This release also includes HexSight, a machine vision library for geometric part matching and inspection.
“Inspired by real-world industry quality control challenges, Gocator Firmware 4.2 continues to enrich Gocator’s feature set with several important new tools that give users increased precision and control in their 3D inspection process,” said Chi Ho Ng, director of Product Management. “We’ve also added HexSight’s robust and proven machine vision library for part finding and inspection free-of-charge for all Gocator users, making it the most cost-effective 2D and 3D inspection system in the marketplace today."
