LPW Technology, a provider of total powder management solutions for additive manufacturing, has launched a new product line called POWDERFLOW. According to the company, it is a powder flow measurement kit that can help users quickly and fully characterize the powder flow to known ASTM standards.

POWDERFLOW is delivered in a robust case and allows users to determine the following: Apparent Density ASTM B212, Angle of Repose, Hall Flow ASTM B213 and Carney Flow ASTM B964.

“LPW has produced this comprehensive kit to enable its customers to monitor the health of the powder they are using in their additive manufacturing processes, quickly, simply and cost effectively. I’m sure all users of metal powders will find the POWDERFLOW Kit a useful addition to their testing regime,” said Phil Kilburn, commercial director at LPW.
