RhinoCAM 2024 is the latest version of MecSoft’s fully integrated computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) plug-in for Rhino 7 and 8. VisualCAD/CAM 2024 is the completely independent CAD and CAM solution from MecSoft.

Release highlights include:

  • High-speed facing cut methods in two- and three-axis
  • Contact Tool condition enhancement in three-axis surface machining
  • Z axis as the rotary axis for four-axis continuous machining
  • Drilling in five-axis continuous mode machining
  • Numerous postprocessor enhancements
  • Expanded RhinoCAM SDK for automating machining
  • Numerous productivity and user interface enhancements
  • Additional enhancements to the NEST and Profile-NEST modules
