MISUMI USA will present its technical seminars at the upcoming Design & Manufacturing Midwest show in Chicago, Sept. 20-22. Titled “Designing a Better Machine Faster with the Configurable Component,” the seminars will be offered on each morning of the show from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Brief technical sessions will also be offered each afternoon in the same location.

Leading the daily seminars are two MISUMI mechanical engineers, Chris Blaszczyk and Mike Melone. Blaszczyk brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience and expertise in the assembly automation market. His technical articles have been published in numerous engineering magazines and Web forums.  Melone has also written and co-authored many articles for product design, machine building and engineering publications.

Drawing upon their knowledge of machine design and assembly, the MISUMI team will provide practical information on how the use of precision-made configurable components can boost efficiency, save on costs, and help design engineers overcome the time and performance pressures they face in today’s competitive world of machine building.  Attendees will participate in practical, hands-on exercises and learn about new products and real world application examples from leaders in the field of industrial machine design and assembly automation.

The interactive technical seminars are free of charge to all show attendees, who can register for their desired session online at http://us.misumi-ec.com.
