According to a press release, the next-generation process controlsoffer more simplicity, higher zone configurations, and enhancedfunctionality while conforming to the EU Hazardous Substances FreeDirective (RoHS). The Altanium X series contains all of the featuresand functionality of existing systems in a smaller, more compactfootprint. These features include standard 15 amp per zone capacity, full thermocouple isolation, mold diagnostics, two-leg switching andfuses for each leg, auto tune algorithms, thermocouple rewiring, andslaving capability.
