Each year, NAFEMS recognizes the best work of engineering simulation students. The program is intended to encourage students to remain in the engineering simulation field and to provide support to graduates as they make career choices, NAFEMS shares.
The awards' aim is also to raise the status of engineering simulation education, as well as to encourage research among students in any simulation engineering discipline.
NAFEMS announces that the FEA Professional Program at the Colorado School of Mines is sponsoring the $1,000 prize for the Student Awards for the Americas Region. This initiative is jointly organized by the FEA Professional Program and the NAFEMS Americas Steering Committee.
A past winner of the 2020 Award is: Tubular Flow Reactor App by Vasilios Halkias, New Jersey Institute of Technology
