Nanosoft has released the newest version nanoCAD Plus 6.0, its DWG-compatible CAD application. It is ideal for product design and drafting and high-performance platform CAD software development.

The platform has a completely customizable scripting engine that lets users write macros using Visual Basic Script, Java Script or any Microsoft Windows supported scripting language. nanoCAD also supports multiple APIs (application programming interfaces), including NRX for C++, .NET and MultiCAD API.

nanoCAD also offers extended plotting that enables users to set multiple plot areas and create multiple plots and native DWG support. The platform creates files which can then be used in almost any CAD program without the need for conversion or data loss.

Other key features in this release include:

  • Industry standard interface and common structure and a rich set of tools for creating and editing 2D/3D objects.
  • Advanced tools for pro users such as advanced layer management, batch blotting, hybrid raster/vector editing with raster snap and network license management.
  • Support for OEM (original equipment manufacturer) licensing.
