NUTEC Releases nuFACE Motion Control Software

NUTEC Components, Inc. has released its nuFACE sofware, a Windows-based motion control platform that is designed to adapt to multi-axis servo controlled motion system and sub-systems.

The software’s user controls are located on a touchscreen-enabled graphical user interface (GUI) to help simplify motion control by allowing non-technical personnel to customize, program and operate multi-axis mechatronic systems.

NUTEC has incorporated real-time visual tracking of G-Code execution measured in metric, imperial or user units; a built-in text editor to modify and debug G-Code files; automatic and manual feedrate adjustments using the GUI jog control palette;  touchscreen-enabled keyboard and button controls; parts counter for cylindrical micro-machining system (CMS) applications; water flow rate monitoring capabilities; USB connectivity for process verification using CCD cameras, and serial port connections for user-specific control, monitoring and reporting.

The software platform can be customized based on user preferences, including multi-level secure access for operators, service technicians or engineers, and buttons that can be easily renamed to reflect specific IO needs or to match peripheral device interfaces.

The retail price of nuFACE software is $1,500
