SigmaTEK Announces SigmaBEND AP

SigmaTEK Systems has released SigmaBEND AP, which incorporates the unfolding functionality of AutoPol (FCC Software AB) into SigmaTEK's press brake solution SigmaBEND AP.

According to the company, benefits include faster and more reliable programming away from the machine tool, CAD integration and automation results with shorter programming time, faster set-up time with quick access to manufacturing information, and more effective re-use of NC programs.

In addition, the solution can reduce design errors, provides a centralized database, provides a way to check processes via realistic bending simulations, and reduces programming errors via its collision check functionality.
