Siemens Digital Industries Software announces the latest release of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ software, designed to not only increase engineering productivity through native automation, but also grant the ability to instantly communicate the results of simulations using information-rich videos:

  • Communicate simulation results to non-expert stakeholders using Screenplay Animations, that make information-rich videos from every post-processing scheme at the touch of a button.
  • Script free automation: build and execute a series of automation actions directly from the Simcenter STAR-CCM+ interface, without requiring the use of macros or external programming scripts.
  • Double the speed of engine in-cylinder simulations by using the PISO solver, which delivers faster run times while retaining the same solution accuracy as previously achieved using the SIMPLE algorithm.

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) engineers can benefit from improved productivity, enhanced model realism and more robust detailed design exploration found in this latest version.
