Speakers from the aerospace, medical, automotive, and energy industries will present the keynote program on manufacturing innovation for the Industry Inspiration Day at IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show on Sept. 13, 2010.

A roundtable panel discussion will conclude the luncheon keynote program, which will be held from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Industry & Technology Conference area of the West building of Chicago’s McCormick Place. 

Representing the aerospace industry will be Allan McArtor, chairman of Airbus Americas who oversees the activities and strategy for Airbus in the United States, Canada and Latin America in areas including governmental affairs and Airbus industrial strategy in the U.S.  Rene van de Zande, president and CEO of the Emergo Group, a consultant in international medical device registrations, quality system compliance, and medical distribution management, will cover the medical device and in vitro medical device industries.  Leading the discussion for the automotive sector will be Jim Tetreault, vice president of North American Manufacturing for Ford Motor Company.  Denise Bode, nationally recognized energy policy expert and chief executive officer of the American Wind Energy Association, will complete the panel. 

IMTS attendees registered for a conference session will be admitted to the luncheon program.  Exhibiting company representatives will also be eligible to attend on an RSVP basis.
