Velocity Micro has released the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20-series GPUs and the general availability ZX desktop PC chassis, the case used as the foundation of the 2018 Intel Extreme Rig winning configuration. Both mobile and extreme desktop solutions will be available to purchase direct from Velocity Micro in late January.

“Our focus for 2019 will be expanding and diversifying our already robust product line for both consumers and professionals alike,” said Randy Copeland, President and CEO of Velocity Micro. “Adding several new GeForce RTX 20-series laptops and the ZX chassis to our lineup is a key step. We’re excited to announce the availability of these new products for our loyal customers at the biggest consumer electronics tradeshow of the year.”

For mobile enthusiasts, Velocity Micro’s new line of new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20-series laptop, updates the experience of gaming on-the-go, designed to combine performance and aesthetics for gamers, designers, and content creators alike with availability in late January, Velocity Micro reports. Key features include:

Signature 15

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, 2070 or 2080 GPU options;
  • 15.6-in. 144Hz matte display with NVIDIA G-SYNC;
  • support for 9th Gen Intel Core i7/i9 desktop processors;
  • full-color backlit keyboard; and
  • Thunderbolt 3 & USB 3.1 Type-C Gen2.

Signature 17 

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, 2070 or 2080 GPU options;
  • 17.3-in. 144Hz matte display with NVIDIA G-SYNC and optional 4K upgrade;
  • support for 9th-Gen Intel Core i7/i9 desktop processors;
  • full-color backlit keyboard; and
  • Thunderbolt 3 & USB 3.1 Type-C Gen2.

For desktop enthusiasts, Velocity Micro announces the general availability of the ZX chassis in the Raptor Signature Edition, a formerly limited time option and the chassis used as the foundation in the Intel Extreme Rig Challenge Performance Champion system. ZX chassis and Signature Edition Configuration options include:

  • up to three 480 mm liquid cooling radiators for separate CPU and GPU cooling loops;
  • support for up to 10x2.5-in. SATA hard drives;
  • full support for E-ATX motherboards including dual socket Intel Xeon, dual socket AMD Epyc, and single socket 9th-Gen Intel Core X-Series processors;
  • up to 4 x GPUs like NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or the new NVIDIA TITAN RTX;
  • options for bottom to top or front to back airflow configurations; and
  • 100% aluminum construction with tempered glass side panel.
