Zuken, provider of software and consulting services for electrical and electronic engineering, has released a free migration module created with LogicSwap Solutions, a provider of data migration tools in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry. The new module enables users of Cadence OrCAD to transfer existing printed circuit board designs, schematics, and libraries into eCADSTAR, Zuken’s internet-connected PCB design platform.
The software provides a direct, automated path for converting legacy OrCAD data into eCADSTAR-compatible formats. The LogicSwap solution is for users seeking to modernize their EDA environments and consolidate legacy design data within eCADSTAR. The module is available free to licensed eCADSTAR users and can be downloaded from LogicSwap’s website.
“We are seeing increasing demand from our user base for a migration path from their legacy data toward our modern, internet-connected eCADSTAR platform,” says Jeroen Leinders, eCADSTAR European business manager at Zuken. “This new module from LogicSwap fits that need—allowing engineers to pick up where they left off, but with the advantages of the latest EDA capabilities.”
Licensed eCADSTAR users can download the OrCAD-to-eCADSTAR migration module and documentation. Full documentation and support are provided by LogicSwap.
