Founded in 1986 JETCAM was established to develop and distribute software systems for CNC programming of punching and cutting machines for sheet metal fabrication and composite cutting. 

The company serves users in over 80 countries around the world. Major machine manufacturers have standardized on JETCAM systems and supply them with their machines.

JETCAM is represented in various companies, manufacturing a range of items from heavy gauge components to composite or sheet metal components used in electronics and aerospace industries. JETCAM's user base includes ABB, BAE, Bell Helicopter, Bombardier (Canada, Mexico and Northern Ireland), EmbraerCapricorn Composites, GE Aviation, Kone Elevators, General Electric, Quickstep Technologies, Siemens, Volvo, Lucent, John Deere and Ericsson.

Originally founded in Australia in 1986, the company relocated to Europe in 1990. Its administration headquarters are located in Monaco, with satellite offices and resellers located around the world.
