Actify Inc. has released a round of importer updates and improvements. Included in these updates are SolidWorks, Catia V5, and the newly available 2D PDF Importer.

The PDF importer allows users to view and add markup to standard PDF files. Many companies distribute PDF files but lack the ability to add comments and markups to the file. The new Actify importer solves this problem.

Actify CAD importers allow users to access native CAD files without the use of a CAD system. Importers open and read files from all major CAD systems, allowing SpinFire Professional, SpinFire Publisher, or DesignShare Foundation to publish major CAD files into Actify's .3D file format, making sharing data faster and safer than exchanging CAD files.
