Actify Inc. (San Francisco, CA) released SpinFire Professional 8.3, which includes Russian language support, along with the much anticipated Draft Angle Analysis (DAA) plug-in which allows for the fast calculation of draft angles, increasing productivity throughout the organization.

The release of SpinFire Professional (SFP) 8.3, an advanced digital design data solution that makes working with 3D files easier and faster by offering improved large assembly handling and calculating, features new measurement capabilities and Vista compatibility, offering users a more thorough tool for digital design communications.

Areas of improvement include enhanced measurement, with an Arc Centerline to Arc Centerline function; Vista compatibility; performance improvement handling large files, especially in opening, rendering, and interacting with larger assembly files; rendering optimization for 3D drawings; and with the availability of dimension offsetting, users can now print 2D drawings to fit the page.
