Actify has updated its publishing platform, Centro 5.0. According to the company, Centro enables manufacturing organizations and their supply chains to access, interact with and communicate part data through SpinFire across their wide area networks. The new Centro Catalog provides a Web interface to access all design data published by Centro. Actify also released SpinFire 10.2, which contains the 3D PDF Export plug-in.

Catalog is an exciting addition to Centro, said Chris Jones, Actify CEO and president. Because Centro can be integrated with PLM/PDM or data storage systems with the Catalog, it provides users throughout the extended enterprise a very light way to access product design data."

Centro is available to existing SpinFire Publisher customers as part of their current maintenance agreements as an upgrade. New customers will be able to license Centro under subscription agreements.
