Alibre Inc. has announced the release of Alibre Design 2011, which includes a complete code rewrite, a native 64-bit version, sheet metal conversion tools, and customization features. 

Priced starting at only $99 for the Personal Edition (PE), $699 for Professional, and $1,399 for Expert, Alibre Design 2011 brings 3D CAD design to a range of users. Alibre Design 2011’s new improvements and features include a full port of the code to C#, making it a native 64-bit version. It also features solid part into sheet metal; 2D Detailing Framework without toolbars and dialogs; virtual intersection dimensioning; automatic part re-orientation; new hole presets; multi-plane creation; and keyboard shortcuts.
