Altima Software (Cupertino, CA) launched a software product for AutoCAD users to manage design data with search, compare, archive, and file navigation capabilities. Everest Professional focuses on productivity by improving workflow and providing designers with more time for creativity.

Today, designers need advanced data management capabilities to handle accumulated electronic CAD documents over years. Finding CAD data quickly among a large set of documents is very time consuming. Managing design revisions by creating multiple file copies manually is arduous and error prone. Identifying precise changes between two drawing versions is something designers have long wanted. Locating a design document on disk is cumbersome unless its location is known.

Everest Professional fulfills all these advanced data management needs by providing search, compare, navigation and archive capabilities. The search technology does not merely report a list of drawings found, but it also locates precisely where the object is found within each drawing. The built-in revision system makes creating new version of a document as easy as a single click. The integrated compare feature takes away the pain of designers who have been comparing drawings by other techniques such as external reference overlay. Everest's Navigator makes locating any file simple, even when the designer does not know its location on disk.

All of these features are seamlessly integrated to AutoCAD and its verticals such as Autodesk Map, Architectural Desktop, Civil 3D and more.
