Aras (Andover, MA), a Microsoft enterprise open-source software solution provider, was named to the Top 125 list of the most advanced and influential technology companies for the third consecutive year by START-IT. The list awards the top technology providers for having the greatest impact on the direction of the manufacturing technology market as determined by START-IT magazine.

Aras was chosen for the recently announced Aras Innovator Version 9 solution suite for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), which is an innovation in enterprise service-oriented architecture (SOA) software for PLM, according to the release.

Aras Innovator's advanced model-based SOA on the Microsoft platform provides comprehensive solution functionality for enterprise-wide PLM deployments with real-time customization capabilities that eliminate the complex programming required by conventional PLM systems such as Oracle's Agile PLM and PTC's Windchill.
