The new release of ARTVPS' (ARTVPS Ltd. (Cambridge, UK) ART renderer, AV6.5, includes real-time preview tools that take the guesswork out of scene setup and help shave hours off production time. It also offers support for the latest releases from Autodesk, Inc. (San Rafael, CA) for 3ds Max and Maya.

The ART renderer is developed to run on ART's own dedicated rendering devices such as RayBox. With a fully integrated plug-in to Autodesk's 3dsmax, Maya, and RayBox, the ART renderer lets users render complex scenes and large data sets with ease.

The new infinity cove' and sphere' options in the RP skylight feature let you alter the shape of the environment dome on which your high definition rendering (HDR) is going to be mapped. This new feature provides a simplified HDR workflow as well as more accurate reflections from your environment map.

The new real-time reflection feature enables users to view ART materials and HDR reflections in real time. With instant feedback on any changes, real-time environment shading removes the need for multiple test renders, therefore speeding up image production and delivering a more accurate final result.

Supported customers can download updates for free at anytime by logging on to ARTVPS.
