Shaderlight Cloud Rendering (Shaderlight v2.2) is now available from ArtVPS. The solution is a SketchUp rendering plug-in that leverages cloud computing.

It combines 64-core machines from Limitless Computing and rendering from Shaderlight to deliver fast, cost effective workflow for SketchUp users, according to the company.

With render prices starting from less than $10, Shaderlight Cloud Rendering can render scenes up to 5 times faster and animations up to 30 times faster than is possible on desktop computers, the company says.

The solution is now available as a free upgrade to existing Shaderlight v2 users and for all new Pro licenses purchased.

Users can install the plug-in and click on the Clod icon on the tool bar, then specify the scenes to be rendered and resolution required. Render can be set at the highest quality setting with a single click. The user reviews and accepts the price quote, and an e-mail notification is sent when the job is completed.
