ASCON Group announced the latest release of KOMPAS-3D V13, which incorporates the Artisan product from rendering solution provider Lightworks.

KOMPAS-3D V13 has reach functional for surface modeling, motion simulation, piping, kinematic and dynamic analysis, etc. ASCON can now offer Lightworks Artisan for creating high quality images of virtual products or buildings, while they are still being designed in the MCAD solution. Artisan is integrated directly within KOMPAS-3D system and enables a faster design to final image creation. The SnapShots functionality enables users to save SnapShots of scenes at any stage of the design process which can then be re-applied at any time within Artisan.
