3Dconnexion has announced that Autodesk has added native 3D mouse support in AutoCAD 2012. Autodesk Showcase 2012 was also added to 3Dconnexion’s portfolio of supported applications, offering architects, designers, engineers, and managers native 3D mouse support in the real-time 3D presentation and rendering software. AutoCAD 2012 support includes 3Dconnexion 3D mouse compatibility in the full line of AutoCAD products.

3D mice allow AutoCAD and Showcase 2012 users to pan, zoom and rotate simultaneously.
