Savoy Computing Services announced that AutoTrack 10 with support for the AutoCAD 2013 suite, including AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013, Bentley MicroStation v8i SS3 and BricsCAD 12.2 is now available for download. The new version contains a number of enhancements to AutoTrack Junctions that will speed up the roundabout design workflow.

Automatic corridor creation provides the ability to automatically create and update alignments, profiles and the corridor itself, removing the need to perform the task manually. Once created, the corridor can be manually refined without compromising the automated updating.

The solution also includes crown lines, both circulatory and island to island, and the creation of approach road crown lines, all using the Stockdale Method. Like other aspects of the roundabout design, the crown lines are automatically updated when the geometry changes.

Road signs have also been added, automatically placed relative to roundabout features in accordance with national standards. The sign locations are dynamic so when the roundabout or approach geometry changes, the signs are relocated automatically.

The new approach Deviation Point complements the Blend Point and makes it easier to manually fine tune the approach alignment but still retain the geometric integrity.

The system also includes a real-time geometric data link to ARCADY for vehicle capacity analysis, allowing users to monitor the performance of the roundabout as they make changes.
