The 3D-Spheric-Mouse does not need a driver for most Windows and Macintosh computers using HID-Standards. It has an automated calibration routine that recognize when it is idle. Because of this, no driver has to be installed, but 3D applications need a plugin that can be downloaded or built using the company’s software development kit.
