The agenda of the 7th biennial ESTECO Users' Meeting North America (UM21), scheduled for October 26-27 October, is taking shape with talks and live Q&A sessions.

Every two years, the ESTECO Users’ Meeting North America hosts over 100 modeFRONTIER and VOLTA users and enthusiasts including representatives of leading engineering organizations like Cummins, Ford, Honda, Toyota and Whirlpool.

For the first time this year, the meeting is going to be virtual, giving more people the opportunity to learn about innovative applications of engineering software solutions developed by ESTECO. Speakers from various industry domains are going to highlight how leading organizations are improving their product and process design methods with simulation process automation, design space exploration, simulation data analytics and simulation data management.

A first round of speakers has been confirmed: Uyiosa Abusomwan, product digitalization Architect at Schlumberger, will hold a speech titled “Engineering digital twins and its impact on accelerated product design.”

Gurdeep Pahwa, lead vehicle dynamics and MDO at Mahindra Automotive North America, will present “A sophisticated approach towards process automation & optimization for suspension kinematic and compliance multi loadcases design requirements using modeFRONTIER + Adams/Car.”

Gary Richardson, principal engineer at Johnson & Johnson Vision, plans to address "Optimization of contact lens handling and rotational performance."

Darcy Allison, digital engineering chief product owner at Raytheon Missiles & Defense, will talk on "Digital engineering and MDAO."

At the end of each presentation, participants can join the live Q&A sessions and ask questions of the speakers.

The two-day event also allows attendees to discover the latest features and advancements in ESTECO products, presented by the company’s main experts.
