The most recent version of CoreTechnologie’s 3D printing software, 4D_Additive 1.5, has achieved the certification for integration with the latest generation of HP 52xx 3D printers.

The latest advancement enables users to send build jobs directly from the 3D printing software to all HP Multijet Fusion printers of the latest 52xx series.

The 4D_Additive tool seamlessly imports CAD models of all common formats, automatically places them in the build space and directly sends them to the HP print server. The HP machines in the 52xx series, which are designed for production, can be reliably filled with the software in a highly automated and fast process, as the nesting is carried out with an integrated collision control, the company says.

The software, which can be used for all common 3D printing processes, has a revised module to create grid structures used for the design of lightweight components, for example. 4D_Additive can also generate textures based on the surfaces of the CAD models. Analysis functions for determining critical wall thicknesses and optimizing the orientation of the parts as well as repair functions help to optimize the 3D printing workflow.
