Tech Soft 3D and CadFaster has partnered to integrate the HOOPS Exchange and MyCadBox platforms. Users of MyCadBox can now access, extract and reuse data from 22 file formats. These include CATIA, STEP, IGES, Solid Edge, JT and SolidWorks.

HOOPS Exchange is a program that delivers 3D CAD data in a variety of file formats. MyCadBox allows users to view real-time collaboration and visualization on data.

“There are thousands of users who want a single tool to view, store and share 3D CAD models, regardless of format type,” says Ville Kukkonen, vice president of sales, CadFaster. “HOOPS Exchange simply has the most comprehensive format support, conveniently available through a single API (application programming interface). They also offer impressive PMI support, which will be an important option for us in the future.”
