CADopia's CADopia 12 software is shipping now with new enhancements and productivity features. Based on extensive feedback collected from current CADopia users, this update incorporates new functionality and enhancements that, according to the company, will help engineers, architects, designers, and drafters create, edit, and view technical drawings with greater speed, flexibility, precision, and efficiency.

The solution provides industry standard .DWG file format support enabling users to seamlessly navigate between different CAD environments. CADopia also provides compatibility with the Autodesk AutoCAD DWG environment, enabling users to work with .DWG files without retraining.

The update also includes a Smart Dimension tool for creating CAD drawings that automatically detects and suggests best matching dimension options; print configurations that can store advanced print settings for different layouts and set configurations as presets across multiple projects; and support for 3D Connexion input devices for Windows for quick 3D navigation on screen.
